Founded as an independent appraisal company in 1939 by George Olmezer, George Olmezer Appraisal Service has been a family-run business for almost a century. When Mr. Olmezer retired from the business in the 1960’s, he turned the reins over to Maurice “Butch” Lospinoso who had been personally trained by Mr. Olmezer during his many years with the company.

Butch has continued on the tradition of strong customer service that George Olmezer Appraisal Service has been known for over a century in the industry, as well as the company credo “We assume nothing…we check everything” to the next generation of appraisers. Outside of the company, Butch is active in the community and his reputation and integrity are known throughout the auto insurance appraisal industry.

Gregory Lospinoso grew up alongside his father Butch in the auto insurance appraisal industry and has been with George Olmezer Appraisal Service for the last 35 years. He is presently the Chief Operations Office and supervises all appraisers and administrative staff. Gregory takes pride in constantly finding ways to improve the appraisal system by utilizing the most current technologies available to the industry.
